Dr. Kim Gauntt established a strong legacy of comprehensive podiatric care in Hillsboro and Newberg, Oregon, dedicating over 35 years to the community through Oregon Foot & Ankle Specialists. Bringing extensive expertise as a board certified foot surgeon, Dr. Gauntt steadily grew the practice over the decades into a trusted local institution, providing patients with both traditional treatments and advanced therapeutic methods for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions.

Following Dr. Gauntt's retirement in the Spring of 2026, Dr. Ko continues his legacy to ensure the continuity of this long-standing community care. By stepping in to lead Oregon Foot & Ankle Specialists Dr. Mark Ko prioritizes the retention of the clinic's existing culture to honor the clinic's decades-long history while he confidently guides the clinic into its next chapter.

Dr. Mark Ko, DPM

‍ Welcome! I’m Dr. Ko, the founder of MK Podiatry and the lead podiatrist at Oregon Foot and Ankle Specialists. I am dedicated to keeping Oregonians active, healthy, and on their feet through comprehensive foot and ankle care.

When I’m not at the clinic, I love taking advantage of everything Oregon has to offer. You can often find me on a hike with my dog and family, shooting landscape photography, or relaxing at home listening to opera on vinyl. I am proud to serve this community and look forward to partnering with you on your health journey!
